Chicken Preparation

House-Made Ranch Dressing

Method

Chicken Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 2

    Season the Chicken

In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the chicken breasts.

  3. 3

    Roast the Chicken

Place the seasoned chicken breasts in a baking dish and roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C). Remove from oven and let rest before slicing.

House-Made Ranch Dressing

  1. 4

    Mix the Ranch Dressing

In a mixing bowl, combine mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Stir in dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.

Assembly

  1. 5

    Slice the Chicken

Once the chicken has rested, slice it into thin strips.

  2. 6

    Assemble the Dish

On a serving platter or individual plates, start with a layer of sliced chicken. Drizzle a generous amount of house-made ranch dressing over the chicken.

  3. 7

    Add Toppings

Top the chicken with crumbled bacon, fresh mozzarella slices, shredded cheddar cheese, jalapeños, and sliced green onions.

  4. 8

    Final Bake (optional)

If you prefer melted cheese, place the assembled dish back in the oven for an additional 5-10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.
