Prepare the wings

Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. Season them with salt and black pepper.

Heat the oil

In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C).

Fry the wings

Carefully add the chicken wings to the hot oil in batches. Fry for about 10-12 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oil and drain on paper towels.

Make the buffalo sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, add the hot sauce and garlic powder. Stir until well combined and heated through.

Toss the wings

In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the buffalo sauce until they are fully coated.

Serve

Serve the buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
