Baking Instructions
Prepare the Ramekins
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and lightly dust them with flour. Place them on a baking tray.
Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the dark chocolate and unsalted butter. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals until melted and smooth, stirring between intervals.
Combine Mixtures
In a separate bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, eggs, egg yolk, and vanilla extract until well combined. Gradually add the melted chocolate mixture to the egg mixture, stirring until smooth.
Add Flour
Sift in the all-purpose flour and gently fold it into the batter until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
Fill and Bake
Divide the batter evenly among the prepared ramekins. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is soft.
Serve
Remove from the oven and let cool for 1 minute. Carefully invert each ramekin onto a plate. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
