Make the Honey Simple Syrup
In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of honey and 1 cup of water. Add 5 sprigs of fresh rosemary. Heat over medium heat until the honey dissolves. Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes to infuse the rosemary flavor. Remove from heat and let it cool. Strain out the rosemary and store the syrup in the refrigerator.

Prepare the Cocktail
In a cocktail shaker, combine 2 oz of whiskey, 1 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 1 oz of the rosemary-infused honey simple syrup. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds.

Serve
Strain the mixture into a rocks glass filled with ice. Add 2 dashes of Angostura bitters on top. Garnish with a lemon twist.
