Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Dipping Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of honey, and 1 teaspoon of chili sauce. Adjust the sweetness and heat to taste. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Soften the Rice Paper

Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip one rice paper wrapper into the water for about 10-15 seconds, or until it becomes soft and pliable. Remove and place it on a clean surface.

  3. 3

    Assemble the Spring Rolls

In the center of the softened rice paper, layer a few lettuce leaves, basil leaves, cilantro leaves, and a handful of bean sprouts. Make sure not to overfill.

  4. 4

    Roll the Spring Rolls

Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then roll it tightly from the bottom up to create a sealed roll. Repeat this process with the remaining wrappers and filling.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the spring rolls with the sweet-hot dipping sauce on the side for wrapping.
