Marinade and Satay

Method

Preparation and Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, combine turmeric powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, brown sugar, lime juice, and salt. Mix well.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Add the cubed pork to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well-coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best flavor.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Skewers

Thread the marinated pork onto the soaked skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.

  4. 4

    Grill the Satay

Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until the pork is cooked through and has nice grill marks.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the pork satay hot with pineapple peanut sauce on the side.
