    Prepare the Marinade

    In a small bowl, finely chop the shallots and garlic. Add the turmeric powder, olive oil, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to create a marinade.

    Marinate the Tuna

    Place the ahi tuna steak in a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the tuna, ensuring it is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

    Sear the Tuna

    Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add a little olive oil to the pan. Once hot, sear the marinated tuna for about 1-2 minutes on each side, or until golden brown but still rare in the center.

    Plate the Dish

    Remove the tuna from the skillet and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Slice the tuna into thin strips and arrange on a serving plate. Top with sliced almonds and fresh dill.
