Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a doughnut pan with cooking spray or butter.

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, salt, and ground nutmeg until well combined.

Sprinkle your favorite toppings or sprinkles on top of the glazed doughnuts while the glaze is still wet.
