Method

Prepare Dry Ingredients

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, granulated sugar, baking powder, and salt until well combined.

Prepare Wet Ingredients

  1. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, then add the milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.

Combine Mixtures

  1. 3

    Combine Wet and Dry

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix. The batter should be slightly lumpy.

Cook Pancakes

    Preheat and Cook

Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, pour about 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, about 2-3 minutes.

  2. 5

    Flip Pancakes

Carefully flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown and cooked through.

Serve

  1. 6

    Serve with Toppings

Remove the pancakes from the skillet and keep them warm. Serve with butter and maple syrup on the side.
