Method
Preparing the Burger Patty
- 1
Mix the Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently with your hands until the spices are evenly incorporated.
- 2
Form the Patties
Divide the mixture into two equal portions and shape them into patties, slightly larger than the burger buns, as they will shrink while cooking.

Prepare the Special Sauce
In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, and finely chopped pickles until well combined.
- 7
Slice the Tomato
While the patties are cooking, slice the tomato into medium-thick slices.

Assemble the Burger
To assemble the burger, spread a generous amount of special sauce on the bottom half of each burger bun. Layer with lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, and top with tomato slices. Cover with the top half of the bun.
