Method

Preparing the Cheese

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. 2

    Prepare the Brie

Place the wheel of brie on a baking dish lined with parchment paper. Using a sharp knife, score the top of the brie in a crisscross pattern.

Adding Toppings

  1. 3

    Add Honey and Walnuts

Drizzle the honey over the scored brie. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts and fresh thyme leaves evenly over the top.

Baking

  1. 4

    Bake the Brie

Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes, until the brie is soft and gooey.

Preparing the Crostini

  1. 5

    Slice the Baguette

While the brie is baking, slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick slices.

  2. 6

    Toast the Crostini

Brush each slice with olive oil and season with salt. Arrange them on a baking sheet and toast in the oven for about 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve the Baked Brie

Once the brie is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes. Serve warm with the toasted crostini.
