In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves. Cover and let steep for about 5-7 minutes depending on desired strength.

After steeping, strain the tea into a bowl or pitcher to remove the tea leaves. Allow the brewed tea to cool to room temperature.
