Pasta

Method

Cooking Pasta

  1. 1

    Boil Water

In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add a pinch of salt.

  2. 2

    Cook Pasta

Add the angel hair pasta to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions, usually about 4-5 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking.

  3. 3

    Drain Pasta

Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside, reserving a small cup of the pasta water.

Sautéing Vegetables

  1. 4

    Heat Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.

  2. 5

    Sauté Garlic

Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 30 seconds, or until fragrant.

  3. 6

    Add Vegetables

Add sliced zucchini, bell pepper, and halved cherry tomatoes to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until vegetables are tender.

  4. 7

    Add Spinach

Stir in the spinach leaves and cook until wilted, about 2 minutes.

  5. 8

    Season

Season the vegetable mixture with salt and black pepper, mixing well.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 9

    Combine Pasta and Vegetables

Add the drained angel hair pasta to the skillet with the vegetables. Toss gently to combine, adding reserved pasta water as needed to achieve desired consistency.

  2. 10

    Add Cheese and Basil

Remove from heat and stir in grated Parmesan cheese and chopped fresh basil.

  3. 11

    Serve

Serve immediately, garnished with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh basil if desired.
