Pork Marinade

Method

Marinating the Pork

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, honey, grated ginger, minced garlic, red chili flakes, and sesame oil until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Pork

Slice the pork tenderloin into thin strips. Add the pork strips to the marinade and ensure they are well coated. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

Cooking the Stir-fry

  1. 3

    Heat the Oil

In a large skillet or wok, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

  2. 4

    Cook the Pork

Remove the pork from the marinade (reserve the marinade) and add it to the hot skillet. Stir-fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the pork is cooked through and slightly caramelized. Remove the pork from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 5

    Stir-fry the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the sliced bell pepper, onion, and carrot. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender but still crisp.

  4. 6

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked pork to the skillet with the vegetables. Add the reserved marinade and stir to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until everything is heated through.

  5. 7

    Serve

Serve the Mongolian pork stir-fry over cooked white rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
