For the Mozzarella Sticks
For the Marinara Sauce
Method
For the Mozzarella Sticks
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all your ingredients. Set up a breading station with three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- 2
Bread the Mozzarella Sticks
Dip each mozzarella stick into the flour, coating it lightly. Shake off any excess flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the breadcrumb mixture. Repeat for all sticks.
- 3
Freeze the Breaded Sticks
Place the breaded mozzarella sticks on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Freeze for at least 30 minutes to help the coating adhere when frying.
- 4
Fry the Mozzarella Sticks
In a large pot or deep fryer, heat the vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Fry the mozzarella sticks in batches for about 2-3 minutes or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

- 8
Serve
Once the sauce has thickened slightly, remove from heat and serve warm alongside the fried mozzarella sticks.
