Method
Preparation of Chicken Tenders
Prepare Chicken
Slice the chicken breasts into strips, approximately 1 inch wide.
Set Up Breading Station
In three separate shallow bowls, set up the breading station. In the first bowl, add the flour mixed with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. In the second bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk. In the third bowl, add the breadcrumbs.
Bread the Chicken
Coat each chicken strip first in the flour mixture, shaking off excess, then dip in the egg mixture, and finally coat with breadcrumbs. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken to ensure they adhere well.
Cooking Chicken Tenders
Heat Oil
In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
Fry Chicken Tenders
Carefully add the breaded chicken strips to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through.
Drain
Remove the chicken tenders from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
