Cooking Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Beef Patties

Divide the pound of Angus beef into two equal portions (8 ounces each). Gently form each portion into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center to help them cook evenly. Season both sides with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patties

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Place the beef patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on one side. Flip the patties and place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Grill for an additional 4-5 minutes for medium doneness.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Buns

While the patties are grilling, slice the brioche buns in half and toast them lightly on the grill until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Burger

On the bottom half of each toasted bun, layer lettuce, the grilled patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, and onion. Top with ketchup and mustard, then place the top half of the bun on each burger.

  5. 5

    Serve

Serve the burgers immediately with your choice of sides.
