Gnocchi

Method

Prepare the Gnocchi

  1. 1

    Cook the Gnocchi

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the potato gnocchi and cook according to package instructions, usually until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Gnocchi

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the cooked gnocchi and sauté until golden and crispy on the outside. Remove from skillet and set aside.

Make the Mushroom Sauce

  1. 3

    Sauté Vegetables

In the same skillet, add the chopped shallots and minced garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

  2. 4

    Add Mushrooms

Add the wild and cultivated mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.

  3. 5

    Make the Cream Sauce

Stir in the heavy cream and truffle oil. Season with salt and black pepper. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.

Combine and Serve

  1. 6

    Mix Gnocchi with Sauce

Gently fold the sautéed gnocchi into the mushroom cream sauce until well coated.

  2. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve the gnocchi topped with crumbled chevre and fresh herbs. Enjoy!
