Prepare the Pretzel Crust
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the pretzel crumbs, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix until well combined. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake for 10 minutes, then let cool completely.
Make the Cream Cheese Layer
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and powdered sugar together until smooth. Fold in the Cool Whip until well combined. Spread this mixture over the cooled pretzel crust.
Prepare the Strawberry Topping
In a separate bowl, dissolve the strawberry gelatin in 2 cups of boiling water, stirring well. Once dissolved, add the sliced strawberries to the mixture. Let it cool slightly before pouring it over the cream cheese layer.
Chill and Serve
Refrigerate the salad for at least 2 hours, or until set. Cut into squares and serve chilled.
