Method

Pasta Preparation

  1. 1

    Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the elbow macaroni and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Cheese Sauce Preparation

  1. 2

    Make the Roux

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Once melted, whisk in the all-purpose flour and cook for about 2 minutes until it turns light golden.

  2. 3

    Add Milk

Gradually whisk in the milk, continuing to stir to avoid lumps. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mixture thickens.

  3. 4

    Add Cheese and Seasonings

Remove from heat and add the cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, salt, black pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Stir until the cheese is fully melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine and Bake

  1. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked macaroni and the cheese sauce. Gently fold in the lobster meat until evenly distributed.

  2. 6

    Prepare to Bake

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the mac and cheese mixture into a greased baking dish.

  3. 7

    Add Topping

In a small bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley. Sprinkle this mixture evenly over the mac and cheese.

  4. 8

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
