Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, mix the minced garlic, soy sauce, and honey until well combined.

  2. 2

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Make sure each fillet is well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F to 400°F).

  2. 4

    Prepare the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and discard the marinade. Pat the fillets dry with paper towels. Brush both sides of the salmon with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  3. 5

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has nice grill marks. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets while grilling for added flavor.

  4. 6

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the grill and let it rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.
