Start by grilling or boiling the hot dogs until they are heated through and slightly charred. This should take about 5-7 minutes.

Prepare the Hot Dogs

Slice the Cuban bread lengthwise and brush the inside with olive oil. Toast the bread on a skillet or grill until golden brown.

Toast the Cuban Bread

Place each hot dog inside the toasted Cuban bread. Top each hot dog with a slice of Swiss cheese, a generous portion of shredded roasted pork, dill pickles, yellow mustard, and mayonnaise.

Assemble the Cuban Dog

Sprinkle some chopped fresh cilantro over the top for added flavor.

In a bowl, gently form the ground beef into 4 equal balls, being careful not to overwork the meat.

Form the Patties

Sprinkle the salt and black pepper over the formed beef balls on both sides.

Season the Patties

Preheat a cast iron skillet or grill over medium-high heat until hot.

Heat the Grill or Skillet

Place the beef balls on the hot skillet or grill. Using a spatula, smash each ball down into a thin patty. Cook for about 2-3 minutes without moving.

Smash the Patties

Flip the patties and immediately place a slice of American cheese on each patty. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Add Cheese

While the patties are finishing, place the burger buns cut-side down on the skillet to toast for about 1 minute.

Toast the Buns

On the bottom half of each bun, layer lettuce, the smashed patty with melted cheese, tomato slices, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.

Assemble the Burgers

Serve the burgers immediately while hot with your favorite sides.

Wash and peel the Russet potatoes, then cut them into fries. Soak the fries in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

Cut and Soak the Potatoes

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Drain and pat dry the soaked fries, then carefully add them to the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown and crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels, then season with salt.

Fry the Potatoes

In a bowl, combine the fresh crab meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, and chopped green onions. Mix gently until well combined.

Mix the Topping

Place the fries on a serving platter, generously top with the crab mixture, and garnish with chopped parsley. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

While the fries are baking, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels. Once cooled, chop into bite-sized pieces.

Once the fries are done baking, remove them from the oven. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the hot fries. Top with the chopped bacon.
