Preparation

1

Prepare the Sausage Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground pork, maple syrup, salt, black pepper, sage, thyme, garlic powder, onion powder, and red pepper flakes. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined.

2

Shape the Sausages

Using your hands, shape the mixture into patties or links, depending on your preference. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

3

Cook the Sausages

Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sausage patties or links and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they are browned and cooked through. Make sure the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

4

Garnish and Serve

Once cooked, remove the sausages from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
