Directions

1

Prepare the Egg Mixture

In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon until well combined.

2

Prepare the Apples

Peel, core, and slice the apples. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sliced apples and brown sugar. Cook until the apples are tender and caramelized, about 5-7 minutes.

3

Soak the Croissants

Slice the croissants in half and dip each half into the egg mixture, allowing them to soak for a few seconds on each side.

4

Cook the French Toast

In a large skillet or griddle, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Cook the soaked croissant halves for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown. Repeat with remaining croissants, adding more butter as needed.

5

Whip the Cream

In a mixing bowl, beat the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar to taste and continue whipping until stiff peaks form.

6

Assemble the Dish

Plate the French toast and top with the caramelized apples, candied walnuts, and a dollop of cinnamon whip. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
