Cedar Gin Ingredients

Method

Cedar Gin Preparation

1

Infusing the Gin

In a large glass jar, combine the old growth cedar branches, juniper berries, coriander seeds, dried orange peel, and grains of paradise.

2

Adding Vodka

Pour the vodka over the mixture, ensuring that all ingredients are submerged.

3

Sealing and Storing

Seal the jar tightly and store in a cool, dark place for 2-4 weeks. Shake the jar gently every few days to help the infusion process.

4

Straining the Mixture

After the infusion period, strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bottle, discarding the solid ingredients.

5

Sweetening the Gin

Add simple syrup to the strained gin to taste, adjusting sweetness as desired.

6

Final Bottling

Bottle the cedar-infused gin and label it. Store in the refrigerator or a cool place.
