Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Marinate the Ribeye

In a bowl, mix together olive oil, minced garlic, fresh rosemary, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture all over the ribeye steak and let it marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.

Cooking

  1. 2

    Preheat the Grill or Pan

Preheat your grill to high heat or heat a cast-iron skillet over medium-high heat. Make sure it’s well heated before cooking the steak.

  2. 3

    Cook the Ribeye

Remove the ribeye from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Place the steak on the grill or skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until your desired doneness is reached. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (130Β°F for medium-rare).

  3. 4

    Rest the Steak

Once cooked, remove the steak from the grill or skillet and let it rest on a cutting board for about 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate and Garnish

Slice the ribeye against the grain and serve on a plate. Garnish with lemon wedges and freshly chopped parsley for added flavor and presentation.
