Pasta

Method

Cooking Tortellini

  1. 1

    Boil the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions, usually about 3-5 minutes until they float to the surface. Drain and set aside.

Preparing the Cream Sauce

  1. 2

    Make the Cream Sauce

In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.

  2. 3

    Add Cheese and Seasonings

Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Continue to cook the sauce for about 3-4 minutes, stirring frequently, until it thickens slightly.

Combining Ingredients

  1. 4

    Mix in Prosciutto and Peas

Add the sliced prosciutto and frozen peas to the cream sauce. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the peas are heated through and the prosciutto is warmed.

  2. 5

    Combine with Tortellini

Gently fold the cooked tortellini into the sauce, ensuring they are well-coated. Cook together for another minute to combine the flavors.

Serving

  1. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat and transfer to serving plates. Garnish with freshly chopped parsley. Serve immediately and enjoy!
