Method
Cooking the Pasta

Boil Water
In a large pot, bring water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt.

Cook Spaghetti
Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Making the Bolognese Sauce

Sauté Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped carrot, and 1 chopped celery stalk. Sauté for about 5 minutes until softened.

Add Garlic
Add 2 minced garlic cloves to the skillet and cook for another minute until fragrant.

Brown the Meat
Increase the heat to medium-high and add 500g of ground beef. Cook until browned, about 7-10 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.

Add Tomatoes and Seasoning
Stir in 400g of canned tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste, and 250ml of beef broth. Add 1 teaspoon each of dried oregano and dried basil, and season with 1 teaspoon of salt, 0.5 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1 teaspoon of sugar. Mix well.

Simmer Sauce
Bring the mixture to a simmer, then reduce heat to low. Let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally until thickened.
Serving

Combine and Serve
Serve the spaghetti topped with the Bolognese sauce and garnish with grated Parmesan cheese (50g). Enjoy!
