Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) to prepare for baking the garlic cheese bread.

Prepare the Garlic Butter
In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Once melted, add minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Remove from heat and set aside.

Slice the Bread
Take the Italian loaf and slice it in half lengthwise to create two open-faced pieces.

Add Cheese
Evenly sprinkle the shredded Provel cheese over the garlic buttered bread, ensuring that the surface is well covered.
Baking

Bake the Bread
Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the edges of the bread are golden brown.

Cool and Serve
Once baked, remove the garlic cheese bread from the oven and let it cool for a couple of minutes before slicing into pieces. Serve warm.
