Method

Cooking the Ham Steak and Eggs

  1. 1

    Cook the Ham Steak

In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of butter over medium heat. Place the ham steak in the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it is heated through and has a slight caramelization. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

  2. 2

    Scramble the Eggs

In a bowl, whisk together 2 eggs, salt, and black pepper. In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of butter and melt over medium-low heat. Pour the egg mixture into the skillet and gently stir with a spatula until the eggs are softly scrambled and cooked to your preference. Remove from heat.

  3. 3

    Cook the Hash Browns

In the same skillet, add the hash browns and cook according to package instructions, usually for about 5-7 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Stir occasionally to ensure even cooking.

Preparing Toast/Pancakes

  1. 4

    Toast the Bread

For toast, simply place the slices of bread in a toaster and toast until golden brown. Serve with butter and maple syrup on the side.

  2. 5

    Prepare the English Muffin

For an English muffin, slice it in half and toast in a toaster or on a skillet until golden. Serve with butter.

  3. 6

    Make Buttermilk Pancakes

In a bowl, combine 1 cup of pancake mix, 1 cup of milk, and 1 egg. Mix until just combined. Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side. Serve with maple syrup.
