Make the Pesto
In a food processor, combine the basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic, Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Pulse until finely chopped.

Add Olive Oil
While the food processor is running, slowly pour in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth and creamy.

Toast the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the ‘ulu sourdough slices on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

Assemble the Tartine
Spread a generous layer of the house-made pesto on each toasted slice of sourdough. Top with slices of fresh mozzarella and tomato.

Final Touch
Optionally, drizzle a little extra olive oil over the top and season with additional salt and pepper to taste.

Serve immediately while the bread is warm and the mozzarella is slightly melted.
