Brewing Instructions
1. Grind the Coffee
Grind 18 grams of freshly roasted coffee beans to a fine consistency, similar to table salt.
2. Prepare the Espresso Machine
Turn on the espresso machine and allow it to preheat for at least 15-20 minutes. Ensure the portafilter is clean and dry.
3. Tamp the Coffee
Place the ground coffee into the portafilter and use a tamper to press it down evenly with approximately 30 pounds of pressure.
4. Brew the Espresso
Lock the portafilter into the machine and start brewing. Aim for a brew time of 25-30 seconds to extract a rich double shot of espresso, which should yield approximately 60 ml.
5. Serve
Once brewed, serve the espresso hot in a pre-warmed cup. Enjoy immediately for the best flavor.
