Pork Cutlet

Serving Suggestion

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Tenderize Pork

Begin by tenderizing the pork cutlets using a meat mallet until they are about 1/4 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Season Pork

Season both sides of the cutlets with salt and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Breading Station

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mixture of bread crumbs and grated Parmesan cheese.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Bread the Cutlets

Dredge each pork cutlet first in flour, shaking off excess, then dip in the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture. Press the crumbs onto the cutlet to ensure they stick.

  2. 5

    Fry the Cutlets

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded cutlets, cooking in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.

  3. 6

    Cook Until Golden

Fry each cutlet for about 3-4 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Serving

  1. 7

    Garnish and Serve

Serve the Pork Milanese hot, garnished with lemon wedges and chopped parsley.
