Meatball Preparation

Mix Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, and ground veal. Add in breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, the egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form Meatballs
Wet your hands and form the mixture into meatballs about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for about 20 minutes, or until they are cooked through and browned.
Spaghetti Marinara Preparation

Cook Spaghetti
In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make Marinara Sauce
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add crushed tomatoes, salt, and black pepper. Simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Stir in fresh basil at the end.

Combine
Add the cooked meatballs to the marinara sauce and let them simmer together for an additional 5 minutes.
Assembly and Garnish

Plate the Dish
On a plate, place a serving of spaghetti. Top with meatballs and marinara sauce. Sprinkle crumbled ricotta salata over the top and garnish with micro basil.
