Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Vegetables
Begin by washing the iceberg lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Shake off excess water and chop it into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped lettuce in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Chop the Tomato
Wash the tomato and cut it into small wedges or cubes, depending on your preference. Add the chopped tomato to the salad bowl with the iceberg lettuce.
- 3
Slice the Cucumber
Wash the cucumber and slice it thinly. You can peel it if desired, but leaving the skin on adds extra crunch and nutrients. Add the cucumber slices to the salad bowl.
Dressing Preparation
- 4
Mix the Dressing
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Adjust the seasoning to taste.
- 5
Dress the Salad
Pour the vinaigrette dressing over the salad mixture in the large bowl. Toss the salad gently to ensure even coating of the dressing on all the vegetables.
