Method
Dough Preparation
- 1
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together gluten-free all-purpose flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
- 2
- 3
Form the Dough
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix with a wooden spoon or your hands until a dough starts to form. If the dough is too sticky, add a little more gluten-free flour, 1 tablespoon at a time.
- 4
Let the Dough Rest
Cover the bowl with a clean towel and let the dough rest for 30 minutes. This helps the psyllium husk absorb moisture and gives the dough a better texture.
Pizza Assembly
- 5
Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and line a baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment paper.
- 6
Shape the Dough
After resting, transfer the dough to a floured surface (using gluten-free flour) and shape it into a round pizza base. You can use your hands or a rolling pin.
- 7
Add Sauce and Toppings
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough base, leaving a small border for the crust. Top with shredded mozzarella cheese, pepperoni slices, bell peppers, and olives. Add fresh basil leaves on top.
- 8
Bake the Pizza
Carefully transfer the pizza to the preheated oven. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
- 9
Serve
Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve hot and enjoy your gluten-free pizza!
