Method
Preparing the Garlic Butter

Roast the Garlic
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the tops off the garlic cloves to expose the tops. Drizzle with a little olive oil and wrap in foil. Roast for about 30-35 minutes until the garlic is soft and caramelized.

Make the Garlic Butter
In a bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, roasted garlic (squeezed out of the skins), chopped fresh parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

Add Cheese
Evenly sprinkle the mozzarella and provolone cheese over the buttered sides of the bread.
Baking the Bread

Bake the Bread
Place the prepared bread halves on a baking sheet. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Serving

Serve with Marinara Sauce
Remove the bread from the oven and let it cool for a minute. Cut into slices and serve warm with the marinara sauce on the side for dipping.
