Salad Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Start by washing the heirloom tomatoes and basil leaves thoroughly under cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel.
- 2
Slice the Tomatoes
Cut the heirloom tomatoes into thick slices, about 1/2 inch each, and arrange them on a serving platter.
- 3
Add Burrata
Carefully place the burrata mozzarella in the center of the sliced tomatoes. You can cut it open slightly to show the creamy interior.
- 4
Add Basil
Tear the fresh basil leaves and sprinkle them over the tomatoes and burrata.
- 5
Drizzle with Olive Oil
Drizzle the olive oil evenly over the salad for added flavor.
- 6
Add Balsamic Reduction
Finish the salad by drizzling the balsamic reduction over the top. Adjust the amount to your taste.
- 7
Season to Taste
Sprinkle salt and black pepper over the salad according to your preference.
- 8
Serve
Serve the salad immediately, either as a starter or a side dish, and enjoy!
