Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the angel-hair pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Sauté the Aromatics

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and sauté for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

  3. 3

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the peeled and deveined shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and black pepper. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and are opaque, about 3-4 minutes. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Tomato-Cream Sauce

In the same skillet, pour in the tomato sauce and heavy cream. Stir well to combine and bring to a simmer. Add the cream cheese and stir until melted and smooth, about 2-3 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Ingredients

Once the sauce is well combined, return the cooked shrimp to the skillet. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, shredded mozzarella cheese, and chopped fresh basil. Mix until everything is well coated in the sauce.

  6. 6

    Serve

Toss the cooked angel-hair pasta in the sauce until fully coated. Serve immediately, garnished with additional fresh basil and cheese if desired.
