Step 1: Prepare the Mash
In a large pot, bring 4 cups of water to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and add 1 cup of malted barley and 0.5 cup of corn. Stir the mixture well and let it steep for about 30 minutes at a temperature between 150°F to 160°F (65°C to 71°C).

Step 2: Boil the Mixture
After steeping, strain the liquid into another pot, leaving the solids behind. Bring the strained liquid to a boil again and add 0.1 cup of hops. Boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4: Fermentation
Transfer the cooled wort into a fermentation vessel. Add 0.25 cup of yeast and stir gently to combine. Seal the vessel with an airlock and let it ferment for 1 to 2 weeks at a stable temperature of around 68°F (20°C).

Step 5: Bottling
After fermentation is complete, prepare bottles by sanitizing them. In a separate container, dissolve 0.5 cup of priming sugar in a small amount of water and add it to the beer. Bottle the beer, leaving some space at the top, and cap securely.
- 6
Step 6: Carbonation
Store the bottled beer at room temperature for another 1 to 2 weeks to allow carbonation to develop. After this period, refrigerate the bottles before serving.

Step 7: Serve
Chill the beer in the refrigerator before serving. Pour into a glass and enjoy your homemade Michelob Ultra!
