Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Clean the mushrooms and slice them. Finely chop the shallot and garlic.

  2. 2

    Melt the Butter

In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat until it starts to foam.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Aromatics

Add the chopped shallot and garlic to the skillet. Sauté for about 2-3 minutes until they are translucent and fragrant.

  4. 4

    Cook the Mushrooms

Add the sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Stir to coat them in the butter and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are browned and tender.

  5. 5

    Season

Stir in the fresh thyme, red chile flake, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes to combine the flavors.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from heat and serve the sautéed mushrooms warm as a side dish or topping.
