1. Prepare the Breading Station
Set up a breading station with three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with bread crumbs mixed with salt, pepper, and paprika.
2. Coat the Seafood
Dip each piece of calamari and shrimp first in the flour, then in the beaten eggs, and finally coat them in the bread crumbs. Set aside on a plate.
3. Heat the Oil
In a deep skillet or fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C).
4. Fry the Seafood
Carefully place the breaded calamari and shrimp in the hot oil in batches. Fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes for shrimp and 3-4 minutes for calamari. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
5. Serve
Serve hot with tomato basil marinara and basil roasted garlic aioli on the side.
