1. Prepare the Shaker
In a cocktail shaker, combine the Vela Amaro, rye whiskey, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and egg white.
2. Dry Shake
Perform a dry shake (without ice) for about 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
3. Shake with Ice
Add ice to the shaker and shake vigorously for another 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
4. Strain
Strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or cocktail glass.
5. Garnish (Optional)
Garnish with a lemon twist or cherry if desired.
