Frozen Margarita Base

Method

Preparing the Frozen Margarita Base

1

Blend the Margarita Ingredients

In a blender, combine the tequila, lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy.

2

Check Consistency

Stop blending and check the consistency. If it's too thick, add a little more lime juice or soda water. Blend again until desired consistency is reached.

Preparing the Sangria Float

3

Mix the Sangria Ingredients

In a separate glass or pitcher, combine the red wine, orange juice, and soda water. Stir gently to mix.

4

Add Fresh Fruits

Add the fresh orange, lemon, and lime slices to the sangria mixture. Allow to sit for a few minutes to infuse the flavors.

Assembling the Drink

5

Serve the Margarita

Scoop the frozen margarita into a tall glass, filling it to the top.

6

Float the Sangria

Carefully pour the prepared sangria mixture over the top of the frozen margarita. Allow it to float without mixing.

7

Garnish

Garnish with additional fruit slices if desired. Serve immediately with a straw.
