Method
Preparation of Salad Base
- 1
Prepare the Market Greens
Rinse the market greens under cold water and spin dry using a salad spinner. Tear large leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.
- 2
Cut the Melon
Using a sharp knife, carefully slice the melon in half, remove the seeds, and scoop out the flesh. Cut the melon into small cubes or use a melon baller for a decorative touch. Add the melon to the bowl with the greens.
- 3
Chop the Tomato
Wash the fresh tomato, remove the stem, and chop it into small pieces. Add the chopped tomato to the salad bowl.
- 4
Prepare the Peppers
Wash the Peruvian sweet drop peppers, slice them in half, and remove the seeds if desired. Cut them into thin strips or small pieces, then add to the salad bowl.
Assembly and Dressing
- 5
Add the Goat Cheese
Crumble the goat cheese into small pieces and sprinkle evenly over the salad.
- 6
Dress the Salad
Drizzle the white balsamic vinaigrette over the salad ingredients. Toss gently to combine everything without bruising the greens.
- 7
Finish with Balsamic Drizzle
Drizzle the balsamic reduction over the top of the salad for added flavor and presentation.
- 8
Serve
Serve the market salad immediately, optionally garnishing with additional herbs or spices as desired.
