Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Juicing the Lemons

Start by rolling the lemons on a clean surface with your palm to help release the juice. Cut the lemons in half and use a juicer or squeeze by hand to extract the juice. You should have about 1 cup of fresh lemon juice.

  2. 2

    Mixing the Ingredients

In a large pitcher, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice with 1 cup of local honey. Stir well until the honey is fully dissolved in the lemon juice.

  3. 3

    Adding Water

Pour the 4 cups of filtered water into the pitcher with the lemon and honey mixture. Stir until the mixture is well combined. Adjust the sweetness by adding more honey if desired.

  4. 4

    Chill and Serve

Refrigerate the lemonade for at least 30 minutes before serving, or serve immediately over ice. Garnish with lemon slices or fresh mint if desired.
