Dough Preparation

Activate Yeast
In a small bowl, combine the warm milk (110°F) and sugar. Sprinkle the yeast over the top and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour and salt.

Knead the Dough
Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

First Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1-2 hours or until doubled in size.

Prepare Filling
In a medium bowl, mix together the brown sugar and ground cinnamon.

Prepare Butter
Melt the unsalted butter and set aside to cool slightly.
Roll and Bake

Roll Out Dough
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick.

Roll Up
Starting from one long edge, carefully roll the dough into a log shape. Pinch the seams to seal.

Cut Rolls
Cut the log into 12 equal pieces and place them in a greased baking dish.

Cover the rolls with a damp cloth and let them rise for another 30-45 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
