Preparation

Prepare the Tea

1. Boil Water

In a medium saucepan, bring 4 cups of water to a boil over medium-high heat.

2. Add Tea Leaves

Once the water is boiling, add 2 tablespoons of black tea leaves to the pot.

3. Simmer

Reduce the heat to low and let the tea simmer for about 5 minutes, allowing the flavors to infuse.

4. Strain the Tea

After simmering, strain the tea into a large jug or bowl to remove the tea leaves.

Add Milk and Sweetener

5. Mix in Condensed Milk

To the strained tea, add 1 cup of condensed milk and stir until fully combined.

6. Add Evaporated Milk

Pour in 1 cup of evaporated milk and stir to mix well.

7. Sweeten to Taste

Add 2 tablespoons of sugar to the tea mixture. Taste and adjust the sweetness as necessary.

Incorporate Spices (optional)

8. Add Spices

If using, add 2 whole cardamom pods, 1 cinnamon stick, and 1 teaspoon of grated ginger into the tea mixture.

9. Simmer Again

Let the tea simmer for an additional 5 minutes to allow the spices to infuse.

Serve

10. Strain the Spiced Tea

Strain the tea again to remove the spices and pour into cups.

11. Enjoy
