Prepare the Meatballs
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, egg, minced garlic, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

Form the Meatballs
Shape the mixture into large meatballs, about 2 inches in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake the Meatballs
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes or until cooked through.

Combine the Sauce Ingredients
Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and sugar. Simmer for 15-20 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.

Cook the Spaghetti
In a large pot, boil salted water and cook thin spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Serve
Place cooked spaghetti on a plate, top with marinara sauce and meatballs. Garnish with additional Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired.
