Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meat

In a skillet over medium heat, add olive oil. Once hot, crumble the Italian sausage and cook until browned. Add the beef meatballs and cook until heated through. Season with salt and black pepper.

  2. 2

    Layer the Ingredients

In a large baking dish, start layering by spreading a thin layer of chunky tomato sauce on the bottom. Add a layer of the cooked sausage and meatballs, followed by a layer of pepperoni slices. Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella over the pepperoni.

  3. 3

    Repeat Layers

Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with mozzarella on top. Sprinkle the pecorino romano over the final layer of mozzarella.

  4. 4

    Bake

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake the dish for about 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
